Dr. Weiser was awarded his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. As part of his postgraduate training, he was a clinical associate in the surgery department of the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Saint Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center and a second residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

He is board certified by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery and The America Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Weiser is affiliated with White Plains Hospital, where he is director of thoracic surgery. He performs all areas of thoracic surgery with particular expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures.

He has had articles, book chapters and reviews published, and has been featured in video as well as speaker presentations. Dr. Weiser became a consultant with Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group) in May 2012.

He is married, has two children and lives in Chappaqua.
