Kelly M. Ritter, LPN, CCRC, specializes in all aspects of clinical research coordination, including recruitment, regulatory requirements and processes, Institutional Review Board collaboration, data collection and entry, drug accountability, contract and budget negotiations, physician and staff training, and Good Clinical Practice compliance. Ms. Ritter oversees all Summit Health practitioner investigators and medical research staff. 

Before her position in medical research, Ms. Ritter was Clinical Manager of Pediatrics at Summit Health. She started her career at the Group as an otorhinolaryngology nurse. She also practiced in the Summit Health Infectious Disease service. She was previously a staff nurse at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. 

Ms. Ritter likes to emphasize the Carl Sagan quote, "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known!" She says, "I apply Sagan's thought to my work in medical research as well as life in general."

Ms. Ritter is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and American Academy of Professional Coders.

When she is not working in medical research, Ms. Ritter enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, the theater, and being outdoors. Her special interests include nutrition and autoimmune disorders.
