Michelle Cottino, JD, PharmD, BCACP is Pharmacist board-certified in ambulatory care clinical pharmacy. She specializes in primary care and chronic disease management and has clinical interests in diabetes and cardiology. Dr. Cottino completed PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency and PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residency as St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.

She believes that providing individualized patient-centered care is key to optimizing outcomes and improving patients’ health. What's most important is “building a collaborative relationship with the patient so that they feel invested in the management of their own health”, she says.

Dr. Cottino truly enjoys connecting with patients and having the opportunity to positively impact not only on their health but also their quality of life. She is also passionate about addressing disparities in health and working with medically underserved populations. She also remains a big proponent of preventative care. Early detection and intervention are key to reducing the disease burden.

When she is not working, Dr. Cottino enjoys travelling, spending quality time with family and friends, cooking and baking.
