Caroline Prins, MD, always knew she wanted to help others and found the perfect fit in the field of medicine. As a pediatrician, Dr. Prins enjoys treating kids from the time they are newborns until they are ready to transition to adults. It is a special bond to be there for both the child and their families as they go through all phases of life.

Dr. Prins believes in getting to know each patient and family thoroughly. This helps her forge a strong bond with them and enables her to provide the best care possible. She says, "It is important to make the patient and family comfortable and willing to open up so I can best help."

What she enjoys most about her work is the continuity of pediatrics. "It is very special to meet a child and be there for them throughout each stage of life and to be their biggest advocate as they go through those stages," Dr. Prins shares.

Outside of work, Dr. Prins enjoys spending time with her family, baking, eating at good restaurants, and exercising. She is also passionate about nutrition and exercise.
