Alexandra Hopkins, PA-C, is a member of Summit Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team. She was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare, especially in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, because of her deep-seated desire to support and empower women throughout their reproductive health journey. Growing up with a mother who is a nurse and assisting in the care of her grandparents, she witnessed firsthand the impact of compassionate healthcare. These experiences ignited her passion for building strong patient relationships, with a focus on women's health.

As an OBGYN PA, her expertise lies in managing obstetric patients and ensuring safe and positive birth experiences for mothers and babies. Ms. Hopkins believes in providing patient-centered care and in creating a personalized experience for each patient.

During patient visits, Ms. Hopkins ensures all complaints are heard and questions are answered to the best of her ability. She strives to address concerns promptly, offer reassurance, and provide clear explanations. She says, "My goal is to empower patients to make informed decisions about their birthing experience while ensuring their safety and well-being remain paramount." She wants every patient to leave the visit feeling better than when they arrived, both physically and emotionally, confident they received attentive and supportive care.

Outside of work, Ms. Hopkins enjoys staying active through running and working out. She loves spending time at the beach, particularly at the Jersey Shore. She is also passionate about women's health education and addressing healthcare disparities. However, what brings her the most joy is spending quality time with her family, especially her husband and daughter.
