From a young age, Laura Spiak, PA-C, knew she wanted a career in healthcare. Inspired by her mother, an X-ray and MRI technologist, and her father, a Type 1 diabetic, she saw firsthand the impact of quality medical care. Now, as part of the Orthopedics team, Laura specializes in hand and wrist care, as well as sports injuries, helping patients regain function and get back to the activities they love.

Laura believes medicine is more than just diagnosing and treating—it’s about educating and empowering patients to take charge of their health. “My journey to becoming a PA has shown me that hard work and heart go hand in hand,” she says. “That philosophy shapes how I care for my patients—leading with empathy while applying strong clinical reasoning.”

She prioritizes trust, clear communication, and patient comfort, ensuring every individual feels heard and valued. Laura thrives in orthopedics because it allows her to make a tangible impact—helping patients recover from injuries, restore mobility, and improve their overall quality of life. She is particularly drawn to the problem-solving aspect of orthopedic care and the ability to see direct results in patient outcomes, especially when working with athletes and active individuals striving to return to peak performance.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, skiing, playing tennis, and being with friends and family. A musician at heart, she plays both the piano and guitar. She’s also a coffee enthusiast who loves discovering new coffee spots. Most of all, Laura is dedicated to mentorship and making a positive impact—whether by guiding future healthcare providers or ensuring her patients feel truly cared for.
