Kevin J. Holzman, MD, FACS, specializes in a wide range of anorectal surgery, screening for colon and rectal cancers, and benign and malignant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Holzman has expertise in open and laparoscopic procedures, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) for rectal cancers, colonic stenting, and Solesta® injections and InterStim® neuromodulator implantation for fecal incontinence.

Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Holzman practiced with Professional Associates in Surgery in Livingston, New Jersey. He also has practiced at St. Luke's / Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, he is a member of New Jersey Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, American College of Surgeons - New Jersey Society, and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Holzman is a recipient of the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Dennis Fillipone Memorial Chairman's Award for his dedication and commitment to colorectal surgery. He also earned the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Schulte Award for excellence in general surgery. He has also been listed as a Top Doctor in New Jersey Monthly magazine.

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Holzman enjoys spending time with his family, his dog, and watching ice hockey.
