Dr. Teglasi is board-certified in internal medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in government and politics and her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Dr. Teglasi then went on to earn her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.

Prior to joining Summit Health (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Teglasi worked as an adult medicine provider at Morris Heights Health Center in Bronx, NY where she worked with a largely Spanish speaking population from the ages of 18-101 with multiple chronic conditions and partnered with both internal and external groups on various quality improvement initiatives including cancer prevention and blood pressure control.
