Alexander Westcott, DO, is a member of Summit Health’s Family and Internal Medicine team. As a family medicine provider, Dr. Westcott focuses on providing general medical and preventative care.

Dr. Westcott is passionate about using his knowledge as a physician to treat others and contribute to his community. Dr. Westcott believes in treating the whole person and considering all the needs of his patients to provide quality care. He enjoys being able to get to know his patients and have the opportunity to provide continuing care for them.

“The most important aspect of a patient’s visit is communication,” said Dr. Westcott. “This is necessary to ensure that my patient’s needs are being met and that my patients feel free to ask questions, express concerns, or discuss their medical history so that appropriate care is provided to them.”

Outside of work, Dr. Westcott enjoys running and spending time with family.
