Amishav Bresler, MD is a member of Summit Health's Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) team. Dr. Bresler practices general otolaryngology and treats both children and adults experiencing ENT problems, whether hearing, sinus, nasal, voice, or swallowing. He has experience working with head and neck cancer cases, as well.

Dr. Bresler has extensive training with treatments, including sialoendoscopy, a minimally invasive procedure for salivary gland disorders; thyroid and parathyroid surgery; parotid surgery; and nasal and sinus surgery.

Additionally, Dr. Bresler has striven to incorporate minimally invasive techniques including VivAer, Latera, RhinAer, Clarifix, balloon sinuplasty, and sialoendoscopy. He utilizes these innovative techniques to optimize outcomes while minimizing downtime.

Dr. Bresler approaches patient care through preparation and working to understand a patient’s condition by reading records and relevant literature in advance. “The patient visit starts before the patient has arrived,” he says, noting the importance of then making a meaningful, personal connection.

Dr. Bresler’s path to health care began with a love for biology and science in high school and continued while shadowing his own pediatrician. He has since participated extensively in research in his field, had numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and delivered presentations at multiple professional meetings.

In his free time, Dr. Bresler enjoys running, hiking, studying chess, and being a dad.
