Jonathan Tabuzo, PA, is a member of Summit Health’s Cardiology team.  Mr. Tabuzo pursued a career in health care to give back to society in a positive way, combining his desire to both challenge himself and help people. His area of expertise is outpatient general cardiology, treating patients with common heart diseases such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.

Mr. Tabuzo’s focus will be on preventative care. He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient general cardiology, hospitalist medicine, cardiac critical care, advanced heart failure, and heart transplant medicine.

During a visit, Mr. Tabuzo wants his patients to feel comfortable and respected. He enjoys playing an integral part in their health and finds it gratifying to see a smile on his patients’ faces after receiving treatment that changes their quality of life.

“The art of medicine is just as important as the science of medicine,” he says. “It is important to listen to all the patient’s concerns in an unbiased and respectful way, and always be observant and detail-oriented.”

When he is not treating patients, Mr. Tabuzo is very involved in the fitness community. He enjoys obstacle course racing and is training for his first marathon. He loves being able to educate the community on the connection between fitness and cardiovascular health.
