John R. Yeiser III, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Primary Care team. As a family physician, Dr. Yeiser provides medical care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Dr. Yeiser provides preventative care physicals, screenings, and treatment for both acute and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Yeiser believes that the most successful approach to preventative medicine is a long-term relationship between patient and the physician. “Patients must trust their doctor to help manage their medical care,” he said. “Patients must also be committed to reaching their health goals and be willing to seek help without hesitation.”

Dr. Yeiser is passionate about making his patients feel validated with their medical concerns. Dr. Yeiser’s goal is to provide his medical opinion while also creating an atmosphere of trust to partner in accomplishing their medical plan.

Outside of work, Dr. Yeiser enjoys cooking, playing saxophone, spending time with family, and traveling.
