Eva Alba, MD, is a member of the Summit Health endocrinology team. Dr. Alba pursued a career in health care to help people and have a meaningful impact on their health and well-being. She enjoys working closely with her patients to develop management strategies that are individualized to their needs and goals.

She has numerous areas of expertise including thyroid disease, diabetes, continuous glucose monitoring, pituitary and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, and transgender medicine.

“I am here to empower my patients and provide them with the information they need to understand and manage their conditions. Together, we can best meet our shared goals,” says Dr. Alba.

During an appointment, Dr. Alba feels it is important to listen to her patients’ experience so that they can work together to develop a treatment plan. She enjoys caring for individuals over a long period of time and managing their health care needs through different stages of their lives.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Alba enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and exploring nearby parks and beaches. She is passionate about staying current on the latest advances in the treatment of endocrine disorders.
